I had an allergic reaction to the new machines and asked to cancel my prepaid membership that I paid for months in advance for an entire year upfront. I asked to cancel my future membership that was projected to begin 5 months from now and they indicated they would not refund my prepaid membership.

$299 totaling. I only had a reaction to the new machines, as I was a customer for several years with no issues. When calling the corporate office, not only were they not sympathetic but they had no plans on even considering any kind of solution. They kept mentioning a contract signed.

Understood I signed a contract, but no where in this contract does it say that Zoom tan reserves the right to modify or alter the chemicals or machines without the customers knowledge or understanding. I feel that with this said, this contract is in void. I cannot and will not setting for walking away from $299.00 dollars! I would strongly suggest staying away from zoom tan, alot of loop holes and once they have your money, your just another number.

Also FYI I asked for a copy of the chemicals they used in the old machines and new machines, I was informed by home office (Lisa) that she didn't have this on hand. Isn't this FDA approved? Shouldn't the customer have rights to the chemicals going onto their bodies?

Read the fine print before signing anything and ask for a copy of the chemicals they use before signing anything. Big deal everyone!!!!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Location: Syracuse, New York

Wow.. I too have had horrible reactions from the new machines.

Extremely bad acne, NEVER had a problem before.. and skin dry and flaking.. I've been a customer for many years..

only spray, never UV. When I mentioned it to the employee, she looked surprised and said they hadn't received any complaints other than mine.

we have a list of all the ingredients at my salon for clients viewing at any time they ask. maybe you should ask the salon...-

In the FDA a salon should have print sheets of every product, not a headquarters (seeing how it's a office, and not a tanning salon).
